The eighth edition of the India meets Britain Tracker, developed in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry, will be launched on Thursday 22 April 2021. The report analyses Indian investments in the UK and identifies the fastest-growing Indian companies as well as the top Indian employers. It provides insight into the evolving scale, business activities, locations and performance of the Indian-owned companies who are making the biggest impact in the UK.

The past year has brought significant international and domestic challenges for companies in both countries, but this has only demonstrated the extensive scope for collaboration. Indian companies are continuing to invest in the UK and, as the tracker shows, it looks like the future will bring even more opportunities.

In late April, Prime Minister Boris Johnson is scheduled to visit India to demonstrate the potential of the recently announced Enhanced Trade Partnership (ETP). The ETP was launched in February after a 5-day visit to India by Liz Truss, UK Secretary of State for International Development.

There hasn't been a better time to talk about the strengthening of ties between India and the UK. Please join us at an exclusive online event to celebrate the success of the top Indian companies in the UK and to hear from our special guests:

  • Lord Grimstone of Boscobel, Minister for Investment at Department for International Trade and Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy
  • Gaitri Issar Kumar, High Commissioner of India to the UK
  • Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General, Confederation of Indian industry
  • Amit Kapur, Head, UK & Ireland, Tata Consultancy Services
  • Jai Shroff, Global CEO, UPL Limited
